> Current registry as a Registered EMT Paramedic by Massachusetts Department of Public Health – OEMS and National Registry of EMT Paramedics
> Current certification in CPR-Basic Life Support by the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross
> Current certification as Advanced Cardiac Life Support Provider by the American Heart Association
> Current Motor Vehicle Operations License
> Knowledge of the geographic service area
> Minimum of 1 year full-time experience as a provider of pre-hospital emergency medical care within the last 3 years
> A level of skill and ability as a registered paramedic consistent with the provision of high quality care within the operations of Wood’s Ambulance, Inc. Policy & Procedures, and with approval to practice by Region II

Shifts run: 7am-3pm, 9am-5pm, 3pm-11pm, 11pm-7am
Location: Shifts at Gardner Station
General Function:
Provides consistent telephone answering, radio usage, and documentation and log control in accordance with Company policies and procedures, as well as providing emergency responders with complete and concise radio reports on patient’s complaints, scene location status updates, and any other factors or relevant information affecting responding crew
Position Requires:
> Current Emergency Medical Dispatch Certification (preferably medical priority)
> Current certification in CPR (Healthcare Level)
> First Aid Certification
> Minimum of 1 year full-time experience as a dispatcher in EMS Communication Center
> Excellent communication skills as well as interpersonal skills
> Computer literacy
> Ability to multi-task
